Hello Fall!

Hey there everyone. Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

I enjoyed Summer after that long and grueling Winter we had but I am ready for a drop in temperature now. If I had my way it would be Fall all year around. I am one of the lucky ones born in September and celebrated my birthday yesterday. I won’t reveal my age anymore because I am heading into senior territory now. But I still have a few good years before I can call myself a senior.

I am currently at the halfway mark of my new novel which will be titled, The Safest Place. I have been having a lot of fun with this story and can’t wait until it’s finished. The first draft is always the worst though because this is the time when you just need to get it organized and get your ideas on the word doc. It’s loaded with mistakes and it’s something you’d be ashamed to let anyone read.

I don’t want to reveal the plot and any of the characters yet because at this stage as all you other writers know; it is still subject to going through changes. But so far, it’s coming along very well. It’s been a while since my last blog post and I just wanted to give you all an update about this book. I am still writing and although it’s been difficult since I am working longer hours now and am often tired until my body gets used to the change in schedule. But I am still keeping up with my writing schedule and hope to release this book sometime next year. Thanks to all my readers for being patient.

On a side note, I was recently called back to work at my old job after being laid off for a month and trying another company. Sometimes you have to go where the love is and I am back at the position where I am loved and most appreciated. Life is so funny sometimes.

Until next time…
