Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well. I just wanted to let you all know that although this big pandemic is going on and everyone is hoarding toilet paper like there’s no tomorrow, I am still working diligently on the new novel. I have been writing a chapter each week and I am currently working on Chapter 7. And I must say that this book has been a joy to write. Ideas have been coming to me left and right constantly.

I want to introduce you all to one of my most favorite characters:

Mena Chandler

Age eighteen

She is a soldier in the Reserve, a an army that includes people from all over the planet to represent Earth. But she carries a very dark secret. She is the daughter of the ruthless New World Supreme Leader, Amanda Chandler. But the only one who knows this is about her, is her and her crazy mother. Amanda sent her daughter to join the Reserve to spy on the world armed forces during a war with their rival planet of Osiris. But when she meets our main character Elijah Palmer, she is immediately taken by him enough to want to be honest with him as well as help him and his best friend Joe escape an evil plan to take over planet Osiris and kill its leader and his army.

Mena hates her mother because she never treated her with any kind of affection or respect. All she does is try to control her and force her to do things that she doesn’t want to do for her gain. Mena is eighteen now and tired of her mother’s bullshit. She is ready to revolt against everyone that wants to control her and she will do it even by violent means. Mena is not evil like her mother and only wants to have a normal life and be happy. Elijah makes her happy and as they grow close her deepest secrets begin to quickly reveal themselves.

I like this character because she is strong-willed and determined but quiet, passionate about life and love. She only wants to fight for what’s right and help uplift mankind, not destroy it like her mother. Mena is a powerful young girl who loves a good fight and will protect those she loves at all costs. She can handle any weapon and kick major ass. And I can’t wait until this book is finished so you guys can get to know her even more.

Like I’ve said in a previous post, this is my first crack at writing a science fiction novel and I’m having a ball. I will introduce you to more characters soon. But until then…
