Hey everyone. It’s been a long time since you heard from me. I’m sure some of you are probably wondering why I decided to take a break from writing this blog. Well, it’s quite simple actually. I got burnt out. Trying to come up with new topics every week was hard. Especially since most of my topics were about writing. And there’s only so much one can say about writing.

Recently I gave my blog a new web host and a new name, Eshelle Butler BlogSpot in hopes that it would make me want to resurrect it. The change did work but after a while, I became wary about having the new blog entries separate from the past blog entries on my official website. So, this weekend I took the time out to move my most recent blog entries to the blog on my website so that everything can be together as before.

My blog entries will be on a wider range of topics from here on out. I intend to talk about writing but I also intend to talk about other things that interest me as well such as music, film, books, current events, I may even give a review on a film or book I am reading. I will not discuss religion or politics because those are some very touchy subjects and I would rather stay away from controversy.

I enjoy blogging but only when I have something interesting to talk about, otherwise, I get bored with it. I don’t want to blog just because it’s expected of me because I’m a writer, I want to blog because I have something relevant to share with you. Oh yes and feel free to make comments about my blog entries. Your opinions will be welcomed as long as they aren’t insulting or malicious. Thank you for your patience and enjoy the weekend.
