Hey there, it’s a day late but I’ve been busy and I apologize. First I want to thank all my readers for their patience and for reading my work. Please don’t forget to leave a review whether it’s good or bad. I can take it and will use whatever critiques you give me for I am still learning how to be a good writer. I have always been the kind of person who likes to seek information about how to write a good novel. I don’t care how good I may get in the future, I will continue to keep learning everything I can, to do the best job possible.

As far as the new book goes, the title is “Can You Hear Me?” and it is about a man whose life is slowly unraveling and drives him to do the unthinkable. His family whom he loves will become his victims and the only person that can stop him is himself. If he has the strength to do it. So far it is coming along just fine. I still have a long way to go because I haven’t been spending enough time on it like I did with my last novel. I am trying to find a better way to manage my time. But I believe this book will be finished before the year is out. I can’t tell you exactly when yet because I’m not sure. It depends on a few things. Family issues tend to get in my way a lot and so does my time for reading.

Yes, I said reading. I am juggling three books right now and I am enjoying them. Steven King once said that “If you don’t have time to read, then you don’t have time to write.” I must tell you what reading does for my writing. It motivates me. It makes me somewhat competitive and eager to work on my own novel. It is also a reminder of how the quality of my writing should be. I never copy another Author’s style but when I read their books, I do keep grammar and structure in mind. When the book is great, I must pause and start writing myself. Books are like my drug of choice. I get high on them and then it motivates me to be a better writer. Only another writer would understand what I am saying here. But even if you have never written a book, think about how you feel after you’ve read a great novel. It makes you feel a certain type of way. It’s a great feeling and for a writer the feeling is orgasmic.
